Geography
Livingston is located at 36°23’13”N, 85°19’32”W (36.386942, -85.325568)GR1, approximately 15 miles north of Cookeville.
According to the United States Census Bereau, the town has a total area of 13.4km² (5.2mi²). 13.3km² (5.1mi²) of it is land and 0.1km² (0.04mi²) of it (0.77%) is water.
The Town of Livingston, which is considered by most a small town, lies in a valley on the Highland Rim and is the county seat for Overton County. We are approximately 20 miles northeast of Cookeville, situated between Nashville and Knoxville, Tennessee.
